We collect information you give us directly, information generated when you use the site, and information from the service providers who help us run the store.

If you create an account we store your name, email address, password (in hashed form) and any addresses you save. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

To fulfil an order we process your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number (if provided), the items ordered and your order history.

Card details are collected and processed by our payment provider. Velaura does not store full card numbers or security codes on its own systems. We receive only the confirmation of payment and limited details such as card type and last four digits.

Personalized text you submit — names, initials, dates, coordinates or short phrases — is stored with your order and shared with our engraving team so your piece can be made. We do not use personalization text for marketing and we delete it in line with our retention period below.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions such as keeping your cart, and, with consent, for analytics and marketing. See our Cookie Policy for detail and how to manage your preferences.

We use analytics tools to understand which pages and products are viewed, how people arrive at the site and where checkout can be improved. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

If you subscribe to our newsletter we use your email address to send new collection announcements and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time without affecting your orders.

To produce and deliver your order; to engrave personalized pieces; to provide customer support; to process returns and refunds; to prevent fraud; to comply with legal and tax obligations; to improve the store; and, with consent, to send marketing.

We share only what is necessary with: our payment provider, shipping carriers, our engraving and fulfilment partners, our email and analytics providers and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal information.

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically several years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Personalization text is kept with the order record for warranty and reprint purposes.

The site is served over encrypted connections and access to order data is limited to staff and partners who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards regularly and will notify you and the relevant authority if a breach affects your data.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing or non-essential cookies. To exercise any right, contact us through our contact form. We respond within 30 days.

Velaura is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
